**Dining Experience at Gryphon: A Mixed Bag** Nestled within a historic hotel, Gryphon offers a charming ambiance that captivates diners. The menu boasts a range of delectable dishes, from flavorful seafood to brunch specials, though some meals arrive lukewarm, disappointing a few patrons. Service tends to vary, with solo diners occasionally feeling overlooked, while larger groups receive more attention. The bar features a mix of live performances and DJs, but the music selection often disappoints, leading to a noisy atmosphere that detracts from conversations. Despite the flaws, many guests appreciate the vibrant setting, attentive staff, and quality food, making Gryphon a dining destination worth exploring.

Was Anonym at Side a mag?
The restaurant is situated within a historic hotel, and both the rooms and the bar have a lovely ambiance. We visited for brunch, but it would also be a great spot for drinks. The food was quite delicious, although it was served lukewarm, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. I had the California Eggs Benedict, while my husband opted for the special brioche French toast with mascarpone cheese. The meals were... View all feedback.

What Anonym dislikes about Side:
I would like this bar better if they had a better DJ. I am constantly disappointed when I come here because I don't know most of the songs played. The staff is good and the floor is clean, but after a certain time if night, the music is not for me at all. View all feedback.

I was always a fan, great drinks, great location, no cover fee. Sit down is just over never crowded, male urnale above, unisex bathroom below; 5/5.

The personal is fantastic! fun bar with a lot of entertainment depending on where they stop at night!

Love sidebar! great drinks, good music, beer, always tastes fresh and amazing staff:

We had some great dining experiences in Burlington, but this was one of the best. I ordered shrimp, scallops and grits with a lobster sauce -a big improvement over your regular shrimp and grits. Also, the mojito was made with green tea infused rum which was a very clean take on the traditional mojito. Reasonably priced for the value received and very friendly staff.

Small but wonderful menu options attentive service. When we first walked in, we realized that rather then this being a larger restaurant, it is a bar with maybe 6-8 dining tables and a couch/lounge area. The tables were of a great size, the ceilings are high with huge windows decorated with heavy and dark fabric curtains. The family at the next table played cards while they dined and other tables were comfortably chatting enjoying the libations, food and atmosphere. We ordered the sweet potato nachos and ahi tuna to start, followed by the french onion soup and their seafood chowder. The food was superb and we said would be hard to beat during our stay. Highly recommend!
