Burlington Boathouse

The tenderloins were larger than expected, which I liked. However, there was too much bread compared to the pork, and the meat needed to be thicker and spicier. The baked tenderloin was fried, making it a bit tough. The onion rings and fries were good, but the salad was brown and had to be scraped off the sandwiches. We requested the fries and rings to be packed in foil, but they used non-recyclable oil-based styrofoam instead. It would be better if they used biodegradable packaging, even if it cost extra.

The service at this restaurant was terrible, with the worst waitress we have ever had. She took our order, brought our drinks, and then we didn't see her for an hour. Despite ordering appetizers and two dinners, we waited for 60 minutes while watching other tables being served. Our son had to go to the bar to complain before the waitress returned to our table, admitting she forgot to enter our order and then promptly left again. We had to ask another waitress for beverage refills. Finally, after 80 minutes, our food arrived all at once. It seems the waitress doesn't understand that appetizers should be served first. The food was good, and the musicians were great, otherwise I wouldn't even give it 2 stars. To add to the frustration, the waitress mistakenly included our meals and drinks on the bill for the band, even though we were not part of the group. Despite paying the full amount, we decided not to leave a tip. We left feeling very disappointed.

The food is amazing! The restaurant has a bar on one side and family seating on the other side. The staff was fantastic and worked hard to provide great service. Our server was attentive and friendly, even with multiple tables to attend to. They also have a pool table and darts, which I enjoyed playing. I loved being able to have a delicious dinner, drink beer, play pool, and throw darts all in one place. They even have karaoke nights, so be sure to come and enjoy some entertainment while you order a delicious meal.

Terrible service, worst waitress we’ve EVER had. She took our order, brought our drinks then we didn’t see her for an hour. We ordered appetizers and two dinners. After 60 minutes of waiting and watching other people get served, our son went to the bar to complain. The waitress finally returned to our table, told us she forgot to enter our order and left. We had to ask another waitress for drink refills. Finally, after 80 minutes our food came all at once. Maybe she doesn’t understand that appetizers are served first? The food was actually very good the musicians were great. The waitress then brought a check for our meals and drinks for the band. We weren’t part of the band! After fixing the final bill we paid the full amount but no tip. Very disappointed
