Really like the feel and trendy rustic ambience of Barkeaters. Food was good. Salmon, corn chowder and dill carrots, great. Cioppino and lava cake okay. Everything was well priced and the staff was quick, friendly, and on top of all the takeouts and tables. Nice perk during the chaos of these times. A lot of regulars were coming and going and chatting with staff, which I found testament to their good food and service... View all feedback.
What Alene West doesn't like about Barkeaters:
We received a warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The interior is tidy and has a rustic charm. It was a peaceful setting. After browsing the menu, we placed our orders. We tried the corn shears, which were very... View all feedback.
It turns out we were there at Prom Night. The place was full of eager teenagers. The sound was overwhelming. But the staff was great. They found us a quiet place on the terrace. In the dusk, when the prom guests left for the dance and the mosquitoes entered the terrace, the staff came to our rescue and moved us smoothly into the interior. The burgers were great. Put a burger chain to shame. Great to local microbrow beers on tap. Kudos to the cook and the staff.
Really like the feeling and the trendy rustic ambience of Barkeaters. The food was good. Salmon, Corn Chowder and Dill Carroten, great. Everything was good and the staff was fast, friendly and on all take-outs and tables. Nice perk during the chaos of these times. Many regulars came and went and talked to the staff I found witnessing to their good food and service. Note and look forward to trying their diverse Veggie options.
Food is reliably good, and they have good vegetarian options. Prompt and friendly service. Outside dining is nice. Indoor is okay, but a little dark.
Great food, very friendly staff. Cool, mellow place for meal and drink.
I ordered takeout: Shawarma Bowl, crispy Brussel sprouts, sweet potato waffle fries. The fries were fantastic. But there was half a ramekin of the maple aioli so it wasn’t even enough for half of the serving. The shawarma bowl is lacking flavor. The couscous is unseasoned, the chicken is cold. It’s not explicitly bad but I’ll never order this again. The brussel sprouts were also pretty bad. The sauce on top was way too little. This place seems to have potential if they just seasoned their food. They also didn’t give me utensils… it’s takeout, I’m driving, I don’t have a fork haha.
