We were six friends in a reunion, sitting at an ample round table and chatting for about two hours. We had a great time. Ah! There was food (fantastic blood sausage, suckling lamb roasted in a traditional oven, and cured cheese); there was wine (from the wine selection we chose a “crianza” from the same region, which was served at a perfect temperature); there was service (I guess, as we barely noticed the coming and going of the dishes, and they put up with our long time at the table).
Talk of regional specialities led us to here by recommendation. We were lucky as the last portion of wood fire grilled lamb was available for us to share. This is old school provincial eating in my opinion. Lovely white table cloths and a place to get your knees under the table and get on with what you came to do do i.e EAT! Really great...not cheap but authentic and really good value if you pick the local redion';s wine which is excellent
