However, I suggest skipping the quesadillas—they're essentially corn tortilla tacos with cheese, not the large flour tortilla slices we expected for the price. Additionally, if you're sensitive to spice, it's best to avoid the chicken tamale.
The restaurant has some outdoor and indoor seating, and they bring the food directly to your table. There's also free parking available at the nearby mall. View all feedback.
What Jay T doesn't like about Guisados:
Really liked the Chicharron taco in green sauce with handmade tortillas. Not a fan of cheese tamales and the Bistec tacos... would definitely return to taste the rest. Only issue is the parking. View all feedback.

Amazing place amazing food!!!! The best guisado tacos!!! I was born in Mexico and this tacos are amazing. I felt in Mexico!! estos si son tacos!!!!
Great customer service and tastytacos! I don't come here often so I had questions and they had answers; helped me pick the right stuff and it hit the spot. Food came out quick and had good flavors, loved the authentic tortilla and the Mole Pablano was the one for me just because mole can have such diversity to it, it's nice to find one you like. There's a million tacos spots in LA and Guisados has an aire of quality to it that a truck or stand can lack so it was a experience. Check it out if you haven't already.
When I saw the guisados sign I said there is good food here but I didn't eat 2 of cochinita, one of mole, one of chicharrón and one of chicharrón and one of stuffed chile or disappointment, the cochinita was barbecue ribs, the dry dry mole one and the stuffed chile had nothing of stuffed chili, no matter how much I searched for chicharrón, I never found it and the chicharrón was tasteless and I am a mega fan of chicharrón and its flavor doesn't shine here, what a shame about the place, they don't even offer sauce for the tacos and apart from that, they are expensive and 5 dollars for a water of Jamaica or lemon, very expensive and the tortillas are freshly cooked, definitely a very very very bad place aaahhhh and the cashier lady doesn't speak Spanish at all, what a bad experience
The tacos here are famous. Try the sampler if you don't have dietary restrictions. Two or three regular tacos should fill up the average person. Seating is available inside and out.
