Barney's Beanery - Burbank

The servers were inattentive and it took at least 30 minutes to receive a drink. They forgot to place an order for a food item we ordered, which we never received. We will not be returning to this restaurant.

All the staff were friendly and relaxed, the atmosphere was clean, and I had a great experience on my first visit.

I unfortunately had a negative experience at this restaurant. Upon arriving, the hostess ignored me and it took her 5 minutes to acknowledge me. Despite informing her of my reservation, she seemed confused and walked away after a simple "OK". It wasn't until a waitress approached me 10 minutes later that I was finally seated. I mentioned the hostess's behavior to the waitress, who didn't seem to care and offered no apology. Despite the nice service from our waitress, the hamburgers were small for the price and the beers were incredibly expensive at $13.50 for a small mug. In the end, I paid $35.00 for a tiny hamburger and a beer, along with the rude service. This establishment is more of a sports bar than a fancy restaurant. I will not be returning or recommending this place to anyone.

The food and service were great. It is a loud ambiance but it’s expected from sports bars. This is not my scene but I would take a to go order next time.

Flawless implementation between bar and restaurant, Barney?s is awesome, in terms of atmosphere and style. Beware if you are heading down in the late evening, as they regularly close the kitchen earlier than advertised. Much, much earlier. We called and were told midnight kitchen closing, and showed up at 10:15, sat for ten minutes with no service, and when we inquired about getting a server, they informed us that the kitchen was closed at 10. We left frustrated and hungry.
