Solo Eats
Description
A bustling comfort-food spot known for standout subs, crispy country-fried wings and a well-executed fish dinner, Solo Eats delights with bold flavors, generous sauces and pleasant staff. Fried tacos, chicken-finger subs and haddock nuggets earn frequent praise, and countertop desserts tempt return visits. Inconsistencies appear — undercooked or soggy fries, occasional dry wings and missed side items — and meals can take time when cooked to order. Still, with a large menu and reliable takeout and delivery options, it’s a local-friendly stop worth trying.

05/09/2023Worst wings I have ever had $15 for 10. Overcooked and extremely dried out. Not even the medium sauce, which there wasn't a lot of, could save them. I'm disappointed as a local told me to skip Anchor and Bar Bill Tavern to come here. Staff were pleasant, and there is a long wait time for your food to be cooked to order.
I ordered chicken wings and a deep fried steak taco. Chicken wings were okay not the best BUT that fried taco was amazing!!!!!!
Very poor customer service. I asked cook how long it will take for order to be finished and he said’ “not any faster if I stand there and watch him.”
Ordered takeout with a friend as I've been wanting to check this place out for a while now. We both got the same thing the Solo's Famous Fish Dinner, which according to Door Dash comes with fries, hush puppies and choice of two sides. I got mac cheese and green beans and I did get the hush puppies, but no french fries. This all came with a good size piece of fish and overall the meal was good. The fish was perfectly cooked and well l-seasoned batter was clearly used, but the sides left something to be desired in the seasoning department. With such a large menu, I definitely would return in the future and desserts that they had at the countertop looked quite yummy too.
