Description

Nestled in downtown Buffalo, this brewpub offers a blend of Japanese cuisine and house-brewed craft beers, creating a vibrant dining experience. While the food, including delightful ramen and teriyaki dishes, receives high praise for its quality, service can be inconsistent, with patrons occasionally facing long wait times. Reservations are recommended, yet some guests report frustrations with the reservation system and table management. The ambiance is enhanced by quirky murals, adding character to the space. Overall, despite some operational hiccups, the enticing menu and friendly atmosphere make it a popular spot worth revisiting.

The ramen is so flavorful with great add on options. Absolutely love this place. The ambiance reminds me of being in Chicago.

I absolutely loved the unique concept of this restaurant. Their beer selection is impressive and I especially enjoyed their twist on the classic Old Fashioned cocktail with a Japanese influence. I've heard great things about their sushi, although I have yet to try it myself. However, I was disappointed with the mediocre vegetarian Ramen.

Very understaffed. No excuses post covid it's time to hire at a more lucrative wage if you can't get employees instead of just apologizing to every customer.Waited 20 minutes after seated just for a menu to get a drink. Hostess and waitress were same person. Food was average at best. Not worth an extended wait. Portions were appropriate to pricing. Food drastically under seasoned. Beers were good but not worth $8Overall 2.2/5Return? Not likely

I went downtown to this restaurant and walked in to find many available tables. However, I was told that I needed to have a reservation. Even though there was plenty of room and I was willing to wait and spend money, I was turned away. I won't be going back there again, no matter how good the food is. I will only visit their other locations.

I don't know if this place didn't live up to my expectations, or if it really did fall flat. The appetizers, while good, are very small. To be fair they are called small plates. But if you plan to get one or two appetizers to share for the table you'll quickly run short. It took 50 minutes between ordering and getting food, this was a Saturday at 7 8 PM so the place was busy. I had the `Green Curry` and it missed my expectations. The rest of my party thought their food was better. Maybe it was just my choice.I want to give this place any and all benefits of the doubt that maybe it was just me, or just this time. After all I live downtown and can never get a seat or reservation. There must be something that other people see that I didn't this time.PS the lady with the pink glasses She works too hard. I literally saw her ZOOOOMING around the place the whole time basically tending to everyone and everything she physically could. Impressive, but made me anxious.
