I just stopped by SATO on Elmwood Av. during Oktoberfest to try some of their new brews…made at their other location SATO BREWPUB. Excellent!! The shitaki mushrooms,salmon/asparagus sushi and Sato ramen were wonderful too. I love all 3 of their places in Buffalo! View all feedback.

I'm gonna get some hate for this…but over all, it wasn't great. The company I was with made the night but over all, it was just ok. But the upstairs bathroom....made the old pinks bathroom look like the shangri-la after a Saturday night. It was just filthy for a place that serves food. They can shovel their driveway, but they can't shovel the sidewalk. Everybody else is doing it, what's your problem?
Didn't really enjoy it the food. Giving them the benefit of the doubt because service was great but noodles were undercooked and the really thin slices of pork isn't worth paying extra for if you want more. A little below average.
Need reservations! Got take out. While food was above average, the quantity was basically a half portion, and I'm not a big eater at all, so for me to say that, you know portions were petite! And my two friends had a chicken entree, which both thought was my vegetarian dinner as there were possibly two bites of chicken in each of their entire expensive entrees. Crowded entre area.
