My wife and I had reservations and we were seated very promptly. (I strongly suggest reservations) The atmosphere was nice, and the low lit brick and mortar restaurant puts you in a relaxing chill mood. Our server Colin was great. He explained the menu as far as small plates entrees as well as the specials for the night. As we looked over the menu, the first thing I noticed was the fact that it was so different from our previous visit. That in itself was a very welcomed thing. I had a lot of choices to make, from the burgers to the steak dinner. They have 3 choices of salads, it would be nice to see M R give a option of adding a protein to your salad. Of course, at an additional cost. Also it would be nice if they offer a seafood dish, even if it's just salmon. We decided to order the chips and dip the steak dinner. The food was very good, and I was totally satisfied. We shared an apple tart ice cream for dessert. The drinks were refreshing, but different than what I was expecting. From the cocktail menu we ordered the Wild Heart the Odessey Oracle. To me the drinks were more showy than tasty, but it could just be me. I am more of a scotch drinker anyways. I can say I will be back, hopefully they tweak the menu some to accommodate a more versital type of eating.
Our meals we simply outstanding. My son and husband shared the rib eye and said it was one of the best that they had eaten in a very long time. They also shared the Indian style currie and liked that as well, but they’re still talking about that meat! My daughter in law and shared a great baby kale Caesar and an amazing fresh house made fettuccine in a garlic Parmesan cheese sauce. One of the best meals that I’ve eaten. And the bourbon mousse excellent!
I had a superb experience at Marble Rye on Independence Day weekend. The stylish restaurant is walkable from nearby downtown hotels and features a great food, bourbon, rye, and whiskey menu. I had an apetizer of sweet and spicy pickles and a special entree of pulled pork on a skillet cornbread with a great spicy tomatao sauce and black beans. My Moscow Mule was perfect. Great service. The bar was packed with an inviting happy hour. It really seemed like the hot place to be. Highly recommended.
Best cocktails I have ever had! Staff(Brent) was very welcoming and knowledgable. Will definitely be back!
A group of ten of us had dinner at Marble Rye on a Saturday night in June. The food was well prepared, the server was helpful, the drinks were excellent. All in all a very nice night out for everyone. One warning the restaurant gets pretty dark at night and the server never told us that she had added a group gratuity to everyone's bill. All five couples ending up adding their usual 15 25% tip in addition to the group charge. I know it's not uncommon for restaurants to do this, and I have no problem with it, but for the server not to mention it (especially in a darkened restaurant where it's not easy to read the bill) left many of us surprised and a little upset the next day when we realized what had happened.
