First visit to Denny's on the US. Visited after dropping someone at the airport for an early flight out. We were the first customers of the day for mere minutes before it got busy. Buffalo really loves their Denny's cause when people started to come in that one waitress was hopping! I don't normally like pancakes but when they arrive with my meal I was so surprised....Mm..mmmm! They charged me the same price without offering a replacement, and the food was so bad that I couldn't eat it and had to leave it behind. I usually enjoy dining at Denny's, but this particular location had terrible service. The staff did not even apologize for the mistake. I would not recommend this specific restaurant to others.
I have visited this restaurant for breakfast twice now. On both occasions, I enjoyed delicious food, good coffee, and a friendly, clean atmosphere. The service staff is also very friendly. However, during my second visit, the waitress was constantly engaged in conversation with other guests, which made it difficult for me to get her attention for more coffee or to place my order. Despite this, I would still recommend this place.
On Labor Day, the section we were seated in was bustling with activity. There were at least 6 couples and a group of 7 adults and children. The only waitress, Shakayla, was handling everything on her own. She escorted customers to their tables, took their orders, served their meals, cleaned up after them, and handled the payment process. I was truly impressed by her exceptional performance. She remained calm and composed throughout, displaying a high level of professionalism. She was incredibly polite and attentive to each customer, making sure they felt well taken care of. Although she may never see this review, I believe any restaurant would be lucky to have her on their team.
I went there with a friend from out of town that got in late at the airport and we sat down and waited for over 15 minutes before anybody even asked us if we wanted a drink and there was only three tables being used and for workers working as servers. We ordered some pretty basic food but the worst of it other than my burnt chicken was the biscuits and gravy my friend had ordered. The biscuits were cold and looked uncooked and the gravy that they put on it was a brown gravy that you would find on mashed potatoes. When we brought up our concerns in a non hostile way our server simply said I don't know I don't cook the food. If I could give this a negative star rating then I would. This is Buffalo and we have plenty of late night eateries so I suggest going anywhere else.
Understaffed. Very long wait to be seated, no hostess for seating. However, our waitress was amazing. Very friendly, attentive, and efficient and made great milkshakes. Mozzerella cheese sticks were also great. Hashbrowns could have been better.
