She described the portion sizes perfectly, so I had just the right amount of the spaghetti parm. The bread and dipping oil/spices were great, too. Enjoyed it very much.

But honestly, one little meatball with my spagh... read more I understand this is a local landmark. We were from out of town and friends said we just had to go there, right? But honestly, one little meatball with my spaghetti? If it were the big meatball I expected because of all the hype over this place that would be one thing. I was unimpressed. We went to Olive Garden not long after. OK. I get it. It's Olive Garden. But the sauce was excellent and they give you THREE LARGE MEATBALLS! AND unlimited salad and wonderfully soft and flavorful breadsticks! I ended up taking home a whole second meal! Full disclosure: I'm 100% Italian and grew up with a mother making sauce and pasta every Sunday and twice during the week! If she owned Chef's she would offer at least two large meatballs because that's what Italians do! They LOVE having their guests leave full and happy!
