We eat out often, but I would be hard-pressed to think of a better meal. Today's special was mixed berry crepes with English cream. I had a poached egg and a an order of sausage on the side. The egg and sausage were done perfectly. The English creamoffset the tartness of the berries in the best way possible. We have had breakfast here several times before and we have alwayshad a great experience. My compliments to the chef!
I absolutely love this place! I?ve been eating at this place for breakfast for quite sometime now and I thought it was about time to write a review about how wonderful this place is! What makes Break n Egg wonderful is the staff and the consistency ofhow delicious the food is! Every time my sister and I go there, we order 3-4 orders of their Granny Smith apple crepe as well as2-4 orders of their plain sweet crepes in addition to a side of potatoes (home fries). It?s so hard to find a breakfast placethat makes good potatoes (home fries) at least in my opinion. Anyways, the food here is just very delicious and the people thatwork there are absolutely fabulous, friendly, and kind! Definitely recommend eating at this place!
LEMON RICOTTA PANCAKES!! Oh my goodness these are amazing. We stumbled upon this place while visiting our daughter on campus. Comfortable and cute place with super friendly staff and VERY quick service. But the lemon ricotta pancakes have brought us backevery time we visit Buffalo. Huge mugs of your favorite caffeinated beverage and great prices too!
I have eaten here 2-3 times in house and have had wonderful experiences with the service and food. Today I had placed an order for pickup and the service I received was subpar at best at the pickup window. I had ordered a creme brulee cappuccino butwasn?t asked if I wanted it iced or hot. I always get it iced but I guess the woman assumed I wanted it hot. After expressing Iwanted it iced she expressed you have to specify when ordering but since I didn?t she just assumed I wanted it hot. Afterremaking it for me the coffee was disgusting to put it nicely. She did not put ice nor did she add sweeteners and left thecoffee very bitter in taste, not at all how it tasted when I would eat in house. She made it very quickly with no regard for howit may taste. I could feel her attitude and dismissive nature but I chose to ignore it but I am not satisfied with the coffee Iwas given and it?s unfortunate because I had to go all the way home to find this out. I could?ve specified I wanted it moresweet but I always have this coffee and when it?s made in house it is perfect. I know this isn?t how it?s supposed to look asthis coffee is so dark in comparison to what I would get in house. It just looks bad
First time here! Chose the table with the comfy stuffed chairs and it was great! The selection is familiar but with plenty of variety. My highlights were the Greek omelette that I added smoked salmon to and the AMAZING REAL CAPPUCCINO. It was so good that I had a second one and likely vibrated out of the restaurant when we were done. Our waitress was on-point and very nice.
