I have visited Bay Leaf a few times and each time the food has been excellent, the staff are friendly and helpful, and the chai is delicious! On this occasion, I ordered the chicken over rice with a veggie samosa and chicken samosa (all shown in the picture). The chicken is flavorful with a mild-medium level of heat, and the rice is cooked perfectly, not sticky. The samosas are fresh, and my favorite was the veggie one. The portions are generous - the chicken over rice was enough to split between two of us for lunch and we were satisfied. The service was a bit slow, so I would suggest calling ahead to order, but I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be returning again!
The main draw of this restaurant is the delicious food they serve, not the customer service or seating arrangements. The dishes are of good quality and are all halal. I highly recommend trying everything on the menu as the chefs are skilled and know how to cook up tasty meals.
