Our drinks arrived quickly, but we ended up going through two bowls of chips and salsa while waiting for our food. The restaurant was quite busy with several large groups, so this could be considered usual for them. The fajitas were flavorful but a bit on the tough side. Overall, the meal was enjoyable, but nothing stood out as exceptional. On the plus side, the price was reasonable—just $17 for two meals, two drinks, and a side taco.

I used to visit Helen's Casa Alda back in the day, and I remember how friendly and cheerful Helen was. My visit this time was just as nice; the young lady serving us was pleasant and friendly as well. I ordered two bean eggs with a strip of bacon and flour tortillas, and it was absolutely delicious. The salsa was fantastic and brought back some wonderful memories. Thank you for the outstanding service, the hard work, and the warm smiles!

Even though the busin... read more I've been dining at Casa Alde for 20 years and have always adored their tacos! They truly are one of the highlights that makes Buda great. Even though the business model has evolved, the heart and passion behind what they do remain strong! If you're new to Buda, I highly recommend visiting; you definitely won't be disappointed.
