Was Skye Starling at Tuscono's a mag?
The waitress was incredibly friendly, and my friend mentioned that the raspberry tea was the main reason she chose this place for her birthday celebration. What Trenton Davis dislikes about Tuscono's:
Great meal. Orderer a large salad and asked for a side of zoodles, got charged for a dinner meal portion $10. Asked for no chicken on the salad, charged for chicken... food was good, but the bill was $16 higher than it should have been. Kind of a bummer to have the server do that. Nice place, though. Good...but, average. I had cheese manicotti with vodka sauce. I wanted to try their alfredo sauce, so I did get a side of that to try with bread. The vodka sauce was definitely the better sauce... the alfredo had a very thin consistency. I feel like Italian sauces should be able to hold on to the pasta, just in general. Personal opinion though, honestly, the flavor itself was good. I really wanted to try the bread pudding for dessert but it had nuts (not for me), so I had plain cheesecake that was definitely just basic. If I lived in the area, I would return try some other menu items for sure. The choices were MANY!
The chicken parmesan looked like it had come straight from a freezer bag. I was extremely disappointed, especially given the high prices. It seemed to be just a pre-packaged piece of chicken; I had hoped it would be made fresh rather than just reheated! I decided to give the place another chance recently, but that turned out to be a huge mistake. The bread was served ice cold, the service was terrible even though the restaurant was not busy at all, and the food quality was also poor. The bill came to $100, which made the experience even worse. Overall, it was a nightmare dining experience—definitely don’t waste your money here! I couldn't be more disappointed.
We went for my birthday and our friends Anniversary. It's always amazing the food and the staff is always awesome
Came here with family to celebrate my dad's 83rd birthday. The food was great and we all had enough leftovers for another meal. My dad ordered the Meatloaf and portions were HUGE! He not 4 meals out of it, which is great because he loved it. My only complaint is how dark it was in the dining area. It would be nice to be able to read the menu without using the flashlight on my phone.
In the charming downtown of Buckner, MO, this Italian restaurant offers a mixed dining experience. While some patrons rave about the friendly service and delicious dishes like chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan, others lament the inconsistent food quality and microwave-like preparations. Highlights include a delightful peach tea and tasty complimentary bread, though a few find the ambiance a bit noisy. The restaurant shines with its reasonable prices and a wide variety of menu options, but customers caution potential diners to approach with tempered expectations. Overall, it holds potential for great meals, but reviews indicate a need for consistency.

Wife and I enjoyed everything we ordered. The food was absolutely spot on and the service was fantastic. Dietary restrictions: Good gluten free options ?
Our visit didn't start on the best foot, when our food arrived, both my main dish(chicken parm) and side(steamed broccoli) were pretty cold and my dish had almost no sauce, The server was nice about it, took them both back, and brought both back out warm. We didn't realize the owner was sitting at the bar right next to our table. Things go far better from there. He checked in on us to make sure everything was good, and it definitely was, the flavors were great, pasta was cooked perfectly as was the chicken. We also had the Tiramisu, and it was spot on, moist, and fantastic flavor! Wish we were spending more time in town to try more things here!!! Parking: There is sufficient free parking on the street in from of the location.
Some of the best Italian food every had. Just like being at home on a Sunday dinner. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is right in front of the building.
It was okay. The down town vibe the restaurant had while we waited was very nice! Atmosphere once we got inside was good. They ran out of Alfredo sauce around 7pm, for someone who is not the biggest fan of red sauce, that was a huge bummer. (Had I known, we definitely wouldnt of waited 50 mins) Presentation of all their dishes was very sloppy. But service was good.We won't be back, but we are glad we finally gave it a shot, and crossed it off our list!
