Kensho - Bucerías

My wife is based on plants and she has very picky taste. Our server Val was excellent with suggestions for them. There was only one curry she couldn't have for fish sauce. If our hotel is closer, we would come here every night, we could reach it by 20 minutes. Come here! Note that they're just cash. The salad rolls and the vegetable dish were both very good. Other items can be made vegan on request. Also the owner of the restaurant and some of the staff are Canadians, so they speak English well.

The place is very cute and clean, and they have several options the either are already vegan or can be made vegan. The server totally knew what he was talking about and what we could eat. It is a good option in a town full of meat and fish!!

Staying in Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico for a few months and discovered this amazing little Thai restaurant in Bucerias. Almost all of their menu items can be made vegan….just substitute tofu when the item says chicken or shrimp or beef. The staff can guide you as to which cannot be made vegan (ie if it has fish sauce in it, etc… . The Thai yellow curry is by far my favourite. Their appetizers (crispy Thai tofu and their spring rolls are both incredibly delicious. The rolls come in a serving of 3 but we just asked for a fourth one since there were four in our party. The staff are lovely. All of our meals were excellent and we had enough leftovers to make another meal again!!! I would highly recommend!There was a musician playing while we ate and he was top notch! #Veganuary
