Staff here are incredibly helpful. The chateaubriand was DELICIOUS. Talented staff will sing and play piano. We have eaten here several times, and in the past they have been a bit slow but this time, everything seemed perfectly timed.
We have been coming to La Casona for years and it is WONDERFUL!! The staff is amazing here. They are so attentive and kind. Eduardo is a wonderful singer, we always enjoy listening to him. We enjoy Roger, Angel, Eduardo, Alfredo and Monsi each time we visit. The food is amazing and very good portions along with the amazing taste! It is our favorite in Nuevo Vallarta. Spoil yourself and go!!
The dinner check for two with two glasses of wine and two shots of tequila was $280.00 which accounted for a $50.00 discount because we have a time share there. The apps were both over cooked. We ordered the Tomahawk steak for two (med rare). The steak was served almost rare and was one of the poorest quality steaks we have ever had. Although the waiter started out very good we did not see him until the check arrived. To their credit we received a desert as it was our anniversary.
Don't waste your money at this place. I've been doing business in the opposite of cabos for 10 years and randomly dimmed into a total of seven michelin 3star restaurants all over the world, so I know something about eating. the place is in a beautiful environment, but much too expensive for what they get ie applebees restaurant quality at a michelin stare restaurant price in grunde, cabos has much better place to offer. as an appetizer I ordered her French wobble soup, which should come after the menu with gruyère cheese after the original recipe, but in reality they did it with mozzarella cheese, the waiter made it clear. that in itself was that they could put on others they could lose their business license. as a main course I had her dry ripe ground rib. the waiter did not ask how I wanted to cook it, he said later because of the cut, they just do it by default. this standard turned out to be a well-made steak, not juicy any more, simply not acceptable if they pay over $100 for a steak. the beernaise sauce was also not as per recipe. the grilled asparagus was simply cooked and flattened. they took my french wobbles and another 15% rabatt on my check, but I would not return to this place cabos especially in the opposite of san jose has much higher quality to offer to reasonable praise about it.
