What Pedro Moura dislikes about Tocobicho:
Ao entrarmos deparamo-nos com um ambiente calmo e com uma temperatura agradável, que nos convidou a ficar. A luz ténue, demasiada, obrigou-nos a pedir velas, para iluminar um pouco mais a mesa. O cheiro a comida relevou um sistema de exaustão pouco eficiente. Na cozinha à qual tínhamos acesso visual, foi possível ver que a única cozinheira não usava touca, nem tinha os cabelos presos, que deram origem a algumas surpr... View all feedback.

Excellent price-quality ratio, the grilled black pork was excellent, the fries and the salad were the same as the Bucelas wine. The Service stands out for its friendliness Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

A very nice and cosy atmosphere, on a small traditional regional house, with lots of wine cellar memorabilia, with top service by Mr. Augusto and excellent food by Chef André. A local late harvest white wine as a appetizer and a sparkling white to go along with all the great the food, from starters to the main course... grilled sheep cheese, grilled chouriço (on the table, with a great visual catching flambè stewed bull tail with asparagus, sweet potato and special chef made tomato sauce, cod fish with melted Serra da Estrela cheese and, for desert, a very nice druken pear, with almonds. Chef André was available to chat and and passionately discuss details on his work and ideas for new dishes.
The environment is ok and cozy. You can see to the kitchen in an almost open concept, but if the view is not pleasant. It's messy and looks dirty. Food could to be awesome, but the cook just don't know how to do it: meat was covered with red pepper and fries where burned. We asked for starters, rissóis and croquetes, and also too burned. Looks like they were frozen and had to keep them a lot of time in the fryer. The price is exaggeratedly high for quality. Service was not great also: employees stopped serving and we had to chase them. Often to be found eating in the kitchen. Restaurant has all thats is needed to succeed, but needs a better cook and service. Small important changes are needed. Don't plan to come back soon

Best Vibe, typical place, excellent food and great people. She's doing everything by herself, service and food. Lovely place highly highly recommended

Jantar personalizado pelo sr. João. Excelente atendimento e simpatia. Comer fatiota de coelho no forno de lenha e rosbife de touro bravo é obrigatório. Entrada de colheita tardia de chão de Prado.
Small and cozy from the beaten away. delicious food that is not often found in restaurants. open kitchen, but not intrusive.
