So frustrated. This is usually our go to place in town for a weekend breakfast that is good and fast. Lately the service has been slacking and today we sat there for 30 minutes after ordering and still didn’t have food. The restaurant wasn’t even busy when we got there. Wonderful spot for breakfast! The staff is incredibly friendly, and they promptly refill your coffee cup. The food is just what you'd hope for in a local family restaurant. The morning crowd is mostly made up of older patrons, and there's a short concrete ramp at the entrance for easy access. You won't encounter anything but kind people here!
It was very good, the food was great and the cake was excellent for a fair price. We haven't been here for a few years since we've been 30 miles away.
Jan Heather are by far my favorite waitresses of any place I have visited. Shaffer's cooks pay attention to details get our orders right every time. We always leave feeling full content. I got the farmers omelet John order a half order of biscuits gravy, 2 eggs over medium, cornbeef hash and crispy bacon. Coffee for both of us like always the food service was AWESOME! Shaffer's rocks because the staff cares. Love ya Jan Heather!
Great food at a cheap price. Someone forgot to tell them that prices went up everywhere lol. Shhh! I'm not going to either. Vegetarian options: They have veggies dishes and dietary dished. Kid-friendliness: Finger foods. Parking: Good sized parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: Straight in the front door. Dietary restrictions: They have dietary dishes.
