We have been to Cotton Patch before and liked it. This trip was not great though. I have new food allergy that I'm navigating. We went there with a group so weren't really able to decide before hand based on their allergen menu if we wanted to go. Was reluctant to come after seeing a couple of poor service reviews...but so glad we did. Brandy O. was our server and she was great. My husband ordered a sweet tea and the chicken fried steak with light breading (brandy informed us it was made in house and could customize the breading) and was pleased. I ordered the turkey avo club with sweet potato fries and was pleased. we also shared the cornbread skillet and potato soup and both were very good. Overall great experience. The bill was $32.
Looks really nice, great home style country feel and a friendly staff. Also the food is really good. All in all a great experience.
An array of classic Texas comfort foods. Not crowded on Saturday night, good in this time of COVID rising. Great Service

The food here is quite good. The vegetables and side dishes are exceptional. I typically go for the chicken strips or chicken-fried chicken. On my most recent visit, I decided to try the meatloaf, and it was very flavorful. However, the baked potato I had with it was nothing special, which is disappointing given how great the other sides are.
I went out for dinner with my parents and had the chicken fried chicken, which was, as always, delicious. For appetizers, we enjoyed skillet cornbread and Texas fried mushrooms. The cornbread was just the right amount of sweet and served hot in a mini skillet. The Texas-sized fried mushrooms were almost enough to satisfy all three of us before our entrees arrived, and they were very tasty! I also tried the chicken fried steak, which was great, but the Alfredo sauce was a bit watery. If you decide to order it and find the same, I recommend taking it home and refrigerating it overnight. In my opinion, it tastes pretty good the next day!
I had the Patty's Melt and then the Mama's white cake....it was fabulous!! I really enjoyed the background music and our waitress, Andrea, was so sweet. Can't wait to come back to Bryan again!!
Food was pretty good but our service was slow even though it wasn?t busy and they had at least three wait staff.. out of three consecutive sides I asked for so I guess fourth times a charm. Our server took about 15 minutes to bring us water and thenanother 5 to bring our bread rolls.. apparently you get bread roll appetizers here. Overall pretty mid. I don?t think I?ll beback for quite a while
At Cotton Patch Cafe Bryan, they advertise $9 chicken fried steak and chicken dinners on Mondays after 5 PM. However, we placed our order at 4:35 PM and didn’t leave until 5:14 PM. When I asked why we didn’t receive the discounted meals, the server said it was because our order was before 5 PM, even though our drinks were charged after that time. It seemed like they simply didn’t want to honor the discount. Our bill for two dinners, two beers, and a tea came to $43.61, which felt unreasonably high. My tea was $3.29, quite expensive compared to the usual $2 to $2.50 for soft drinks and tea. When it was time to pay, the waitress hadn’t brought the check, so we went to the front ourselves. Staff seemed confused about where we should settle the bill. After a few moments, our waitress appeared puzzled, despite the long wait at our table. Overall, I do not recommend Cotton Patch Cafe Bryan, and I advise checking the menu carefully before dining.

The completion of our son went unannounced with 17 people. Had to Annie, she did an amazing job waiting for us all! Super way constantly made that we were good The food was perfectly fast kisses to the chefs in the back! We came back in 2019 for our 1st Son's Department Dinner will definitely be back for our daughter in 4 years. Thanks again for our dinner perfectly unforgettable
Great food. The broccoli and rice casseroles were really good and the chicken fried steak was delicious. This location has no full bar yet, but we had a Sangria and it was very delicious. Our server was busy so there were some delays, but nothing that was ridiculous.
Waiter, Larry, was very friendly, gave us a lot of time to look at the menu, but stood close to our order when we were ready. Food was good, hadn't been in a cotton patch for 10 years and my dad would have been thrilled. His favorite before passing. The bathrooms were clean. Many parking spaces. Good experience. Always a favorite with kids eat free Wednesday's and friendly service. Never have to wait long and all food is fresh and high qaulity for price. I enjoyed a family weeknight dinner here and will definitely go again.
My waitress, Claire, was an absolute sweetheart. I didn't have to wait on anything as she tended to my every need. I would highly recommend coming here and requesting her as a waitress. The food is good. It's very filling. And it's very satisfying. I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant again not only for the food but for the good service
