The... read more We were hoping for a more genuine experience, but were let down by the lack of authenticity and charm. It felt more like a bar trying to imitate an Izakaya. The donburi resembled a poke bowl, with old, saucy rice. We were also hoping for a wider variety of side dishes. The atmosphere was awkward, but could possibly improve in the evening. Update: Both my partner and I are now experiencing some stomach issues.
