This place hits the top of a basic Mexican restaurant in all the right ways. Flavorful as in balanced fat and salt for the pollo a la crema from a broth standpoint, not a seasoning standpoint. When it comes to Mexican restaurants, they hit a cap fast on quality unless they're a steak house or are going for authentic. This place isn't either of those, and sure, it could use more seasoning, but as a nicely decorated and easily approachable place, it's hard but to love this place

Had a wonderful lunch with mom for my birthday, and El Sombrero hit the spot! The food was absolutely DELICIOUS, and the staff were so kind! We will definitely be back!
