Four of us stayed at Alexander's Lodge June 17-20 to hike Mt. Rainier and loved it. Summer was very helpful and accommodating, even finding us extra winter gear when the weather became quite cold and snowy during our stay. Service was great, the rooms were very clean, there is a gorgeous trail behind the property, and the location is fantastic. Summer's suggestion of dining at Wildberry Restaurant also proved worthwh... View all feedback.
What Kasey Jordan doesn't like about Alexander's Country Inn And:
Horrible! From the outdated and dirty inside and overgrown foliage outside! You get your key from an envelope taped on the office door. Wasted money, but was happier to move on
My now husband and I got married down the road from this inn at Wellspring Spa and booked this inn for our wedding night. I told the person I spoke with over the phone that it would be our wedding night when booking and took the room that she suggested. Fast forward to the night of, after our ceremony and reception when we pulled up to the inn and got the key to our room. We were surprised to receive driving directions to our room. We followed the directions over to what looked like a mobile home converted into a lousy motel room off-site from the actual historical inn. There was no mention that the inn even had rooms separate from the main building when I was making the reservation. And this was the room suggested to me for our wedding night. The cherry on top was the camouflage colored comforter on top of our bed—super romantic
Excellent room and service. Rooms are nice and clean. Very cozy and unique environment. Summer did an excellent job in making sure everything was tip top shape and gave great recommendations on restaurants and places to visit. Hope to stay again next time I'm around
This was a surprise, so pretty, historic and just quirky. We loved that on arrival there were deer milling around the carpark. The rooms were neat and clean, plus there was a large lounge with an open fire. Very close to the National Park.
Beautiful, cozy place and very warm people. Jim helped switch our room instantly without hesitation when we informed him that one of our rooms was away from the main bldg. and would be inconvenient for my mom and me. That made our stay perfect. THANK YOU! Our other room on 2nd floor was very beautiful and comfy. If you can't climb stairs, please discuss with the manager for options. Pre packed breakfast was adequate. Vegetarians may need to supplement it. Summer, the other manager, stopped by a couple times in the parking lot to inquire about our comfort and provided helpful info on getting around, gas, dinner, snow chains, etc. thank you! Overall, people here keep this place feeling warm even in March! I recommend and will return!
