Fast service and friendly staff! Place is quite small (around 10 tables) and only 1 cashier. On a sunday afternoon you might wait in line or wait for a table. But not a lot, so its not a big deal. Why not 5 stars? Well, its been a few years since Ive been here the last time and I was horified by the prices! Yes, their food is good (not fantastic, but good), and yes, their portions are quite generous and yes, covid19, and yes, high inflation and even yes, they play Yes Owner of a Lonely Heart inside the restaurant, but still.. $25 for a trio is pushing. If at least they had a meal price as other restaurants..
The food is delicious, but your system of orders online doesn't work, is faster order on site.
It's a very average five guys... which means it's an EXCELLENT burger place! The staff is, as always, efficient, communicate well and are speedy and nice. It's sad there are not more five guys around Montreal
My wife and I had lunch at the Five Guys restaurant at the Dix/Trente shopping mall on Monday, December 5, 2023. I ordered a large cheeseburger and fries and a small burger and small fries for my wife (she was occupying a table at the time of my order). In response to the cashier about condiments for my order, I asked for raw onions and mustard. I didn?t order any condiments formy wife thinking she could customize her burger afterwards. After being served our order, my wife returned to the counterrequesting her un dressed burger be ?all dressed? by adding some ketchup, mustard and relish. The immediate response from behindthe counter was: ?Do you have your receipt?? which she did not have. There was no explanation provided as to why this wasrequired. She left the counter with her undressed burger and returned to our table insulted, angry and upset. At her request, weate and then left So, I?m left pondering why this franchise would be so reticent to fulfill such a simple verbal servicerequest. There are some possible explanations: Would the addition of a dab of ketchup, mustard or relish bankrupt this FiveGuys? Probably not. This was not like asking for additional cheese or bacon, which were clearly shown as extras. Was askingfor condiments after the order was handed over to the client break some unpublished restaurant process? Probably not, there wereno such rules posted in the restaurant. In addition, I asked for a simple plastic glass for water and was given it by the FrenchFry cook without hesitation. Was this the response of a misogynistic employee who said it to my wife but would not have theguts to say it to my face? Possibly, but I have no proof either way. Would I be aimlessly walking around Dix/Trente with anundressed burger intending on stealing condiments from Five Guys? (You can answer that one). Suffice it to say this employee?sresponse ruined what would otherwise have been a pleasant lunch. My recommendation is to avoid this restau
