I go here for lunch from time to time and the food is always fresh and well presented. I usually have the lamb chops for lunch and they are cooked as requested and well seasonned. They have a new lunch menu and you can have a trio for as little as 9.95 (pita, fries and drink) or have a full platter with several different choices including soup and drink for up to 15.95 (lamb chops.) What Helga Luettgen doesn't like about Arahova Souvlaki:
We went for lunch during the week so maybe the regular cook was absent but it was sadly a terribly mediocre meal. My chicken brochette looked old and worn out. The staff was nice. The place was empty and now I know why. View all feedback.
I don't get the negative reviews. The service is warm, the food is delicious and the prices are quite reasonable. We live out of town but always eat here when we arrive - mostly at dinner time as we did recently.Yes the brochettes were a little charred but still delicious. Also where else can you get a chicken pita sandwich for $3. The brochette platters come with salad including a nice chunk of feta. Buttered bread is served to start. We ordered three chicken brochette platters, one lamb platter and one pita sandwich with chicken. The bill came to $67.61 without tip but included taxes.I recommend this restaurant.
We eat lunch here often and have no complaints about the quality of the food. We always share a chicken brochetta with an extra chicken stick with plenty of rice/potatoes and Greek salad with lots of feta cheese. We also enjoy good coffee with their delicious Greek cheese cake.

Have always loved Arahova, really great souvlaki, gyros, etc., and BYOW. Also, for the last year or so they have been offering their chicken gyros at $2.95 (about half price,) and we have them often, can't beat the value for simply fabulous food!
We went to Arahova with two other couples. Our party of six was seated and we order a tasting appetizer of three different Tzatziki sauces servered with toasted pita bread, very good. There was a variety of orders from calamari to shrimp, I order the Moussaka, it came with a house salad. The salad was fresh and very good, I found the Moussaka a little bland but quite good. I had trouble eating sure a large portion. Tow in the party ordered the Souvlaki and said it was delish. Shrimp were very good as was the calamari. The service was friendly and professional. Lovely Supper no complaints.
