Description

Nestled along the Maine coast, this restaurant offers a charming ambiance with friendly, attentive staff and a chef who personally engages with guests. Diners appreciate the fresh, creatively prepared dishes such as lobster cakes, scallops, and gluten-friendly options, complemented by generous portions and thoughtful accommodations. The beverage selection is extensive, though primarily bottled rather than draft. While many enjoy the flavorful meals and welcoming service, some highlight inconsistencies like dry salmon, uneven pastry textures, and occasional seating mix-ups. Despite minor setbacks, it remains a beloved spot for special occasions and casual visits, promising a memorable dining experience in a scenic setting.

Bucks Harbor Market, as featured in One Morning in Maine, is a Brooksville institution. They stock everything you could ever need, including fresh pastries, coffee, sundries and more.

Great little spot to grab a sandwich. Sat out on the porch enjoying an early fall day.

BHM is a great resource for Brooksville. A good selection given the small size of the market and the town. Excellent coffee and fresh baked goods with a surprisingly good wine selection. Local farm and other products available. Super nice people.

Buck's is so quaint, yet it has all the food I could ever need. It even has an area to eat breakfast or lunch, and all of the employees are wonderful.

Buck 's Harbor Market has always been a great spot to swing in and pick up some snacks. I 'd like to address the review below from Capt Ron . When he was informed that he needed to wear a mask to shop, he took offense and decided to leave rather than towear his mask. If his doctor has determined that he is too ill to wear a mask, as he claims, then he is obviously far too ill tobe out in public and should not be putting himself at risk by wandering around maskless. I hope he will consider that in thefuture, rather than taking out his misplaced anger on attendants who are simply trying to do their jobs. In summary, the folksat Buck 's Harbor are doing their best to provide customers with a safe shopping experience during this pandemic, and as long asshoppers are in possession of both common sense and decency, they 'll find that they 're able to complete their errandssatisfactorily and safely.
