Salted mackerel is delish; miso soup a bit crowded. Vibe is great and neighborhoody.
I come here often enough and the food is always good. I like the fried chicken tacos and recently tried the salmon bowl. Loved it. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Parking space: Somewhat difficult to find parking
Went here for an impromptu lunch with a friend. Was planning to get some bites but ended up eating meals because we were super hungry. I got the Shrimp Curry which was great with its consistency, flavor-wise, and texture yet it has no super strong tastewhich was a good point at least for me. My friend got the Crispy Fried Chicken Taco and Vegetable Gyoza. I did try one of thegyozas and loved the sauce and the chili sauce (we're from Indonesia so we've been missing this kind of super spicy sauce! . Theplace was cute and compact, we got an outdoor seat without waiting even for a minute. The staffs were friendly and helpful !!Recommended to try a hip place around Brooklyn.
Not really understanding the great reviews, but maybe they just aren?t good for takeout. I got delivery and I thought since I was close it would be fine but the taco was nasty. Pretty sure the pineapple in the salmon taco was canned did not taste freshat all idk. The cabbage slaw was good but the only enjoyable thing. They tried to pack the taco so that the juice didn?t leakonto the shell which i appreciate but I just didn?t enjoy the shell. Just tasted like nothing (salt???? Plz) and better texturecan be achieved with store bought corn tortillas. The salmon was also so dry and unseasoned. A fusion place??? With noseasoning!?? Why. The nachos were?... Idk if they were old chips but I also got the tortilla soup and those tortilla strips, which i?m assuming came from the same dough, were much brighter in color and crispier and delicious! The nacho chips were stale, chewy, cardboardy. The toppings were sad. Like just put it on the side if this is what we?re doing. The sour cream didn?t evenmake the journey. There was a very thin covering of toppings and quite a few layers of chips. Just didn?t make sense to me and Idid not enjoy. But best for last, the tortilla soup! Very good minus the chicken, sadly another dry protein. A little sad thebest thing is the soup because I almost didn?t get it and I would?ve had nothing to eat.
