During my holiday in New York, I had to make it a priority to visit Totonno's, and it did not disappoint. The pizza is wonderfully light and crisp, topped with rich, fresh tomatoes and cheese that is both sharp in flavor and delightfully stringy—definitely satisfying the inner child in me. The décor features an impressive array of newspaper clippings, signed photos, and advertisements, creating a vibe that shows this is far from just a trendy spot. Totonno's is steeped in pizza history (just Google it!), and I admire their unwavering commitment to tradition. They continue to make pizza just as they always have, and given how delicious it is, I hope they keep it up for a long time. Thank you, Michael and Cookie!

They serve excellent traditional thick-crust pizza, but be ready to wait for a table outside. We waited for over an hour, which is somewhat part of the experience! If you want to ensure a table, make sure to get in line before 7:30 PM.

No my pre... read more Good Pizza, love the dough and crust. You may a wait a while, but it's a nice homey feeling to it. The slice progressively gets better with each bite. No my preferred option of cheese, but it was that good that I didn't mind. Also the restaurant itself is quite small but welcomes you with its history. Be warned for newcomers, it's not a traditional pizza spot. Meaning you are not getting individual slices. I'm sure you'll enjoy it however

Yes, be prepared for at least an hour wait outside (though it could be shorter if you're fortunate) and about an hour wait inside as well (provided they're not inundated with takeout orders). If you're lucky, your pizza will arrive quickly. Overall, it's a great place to dine, but just know that you'll need to wait a bit.

In fact, everything you’ve read, from how amazing the white pizza is to how busy it is to how surly the owner lady is — every bit of it is true. And it’s worth all your time and effort and money to try it. You will not be disappointed. And if you are, you did it wrong.
