Tama is one of my favorite Filipino restaurants in NYC. I was sad that the Mackerel and Popcorn Chicken were unavailable when I was there, though! I highly recommend the shrimp, lumpia, and the BICOL EXPRESS! There isn't a lot of seating, so I recommend making a reservation in advance!

Absolutely blown away. I used to live nearby and sad I didn't eat here more often but so happy I finally did. The food is delicious, well priced and just overall awesome. Even IF You don't live nearby, you won't regret eating here. Space is kinda small but they ARE on opentable so make a resi. yum yum yum.

My wife and I check out every Filipino restaurant in every city that we live in or visit. She's eaten Filipino food her whole life. THIS was the best Filipino food she has ever had, and the rest of us were quick to say the same. Every dish was perfect and the staff was super warm and welcoming and helpful and generous. We had a great time and would highly recommend Tama to anyone.

We ordered the bicol express (pork belly), lumpia shanghai (pork spring rolls), Adobe chicken, and sauteed seasonal veggies. It was all delicious! Would especially recommend the lumpia shanghai and Adobe chicken great flavor, the chicken and pork belly melts in your mouth. We went home with leftovers. A small place, seats 8 people, friendly staff.
