It’s unfortunate that a supposedly special occasion, like a friend's birthday celebration in the downstairs area, was overshadowed by the staff’s incompetence and impoliteness. Although the food at Talon offered some glimmer of hope for the evening with its quality, having to place orders directly at the bar meant enduring the same rude service from the bartenders. Sadly, even the promising food couldn’t make up for the overall disappointing experience, which was marred by the disrespectful attitude of the staff. Talon seriously needs to improve both its service and standards if it wants to retain customers.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this individual really affected our enjoyment of the evening. It wasn’t a busy night, yet we were left waiting for a long time. When she did take our order, her tone was quite harsh. Interestingly, she was very friendly with the white customers around us. It’s frustrating to see that kind of attitude in a community that deserves respect.
