Was James wilson at Tabaré a mag?
Serving traditional Uruguayan food, their churrasco (steak) is unbelievable full of flavor and sauce.I would also recommend their empanadas. The beef onion was my favorite, but the kale one was also good. The staff are incredibly kind and were able to make space for us at the bar when all the tables were reserved, which, as a protip, is a kind reminder to make a reservation. What David dislikes about Tabaré:
The food was amazing at this restaurant! Even though the menu was limited and the place seemed small at first, I had no regrets dining here. The service could use some improvement, but overall, I have no complaints. View all feedback.
My husband has been wanting to try this place for quite a long time, so I finally made reservations for our wedding anniversary.
This is a very cute cozy restaurant in the neighborhood It's not that visible from the outside.
I could not comprehend how this spot had such great reviews we opted for a variety of their most popular items but they were either over-sauced or just bad
This rustic restaurant has the best meats and food. Like stepping into a cabin in Uruguayan countryside and your friends great you with the best cuts from the farm grass fed beef, blood sausage, chicken and more. Good selection of wines and cocktails. The empanada appetizers and blood sausage toast with an egg were spectacular! Coming back soon to eat the menu
Lovely little local gem in Williamsburg! Visiting from London, we've never had Uruguayan food before before so this was a delightful find. The empanadas were heavenly and cocktails delicious. Most of all though, the ambiance of the place is verycool. Loved it! Note: They only take Amex or cash so come prepared if you're a foreign visitor!
