Not everyone works a typical 12-hour day shift! This particular truck stop should think about accommodating customers at all hours.

However,... read more I visited Subway Shop for both lunch and dinner on October 3, 2021. Lunch was excellent—the staff were friendly, and the food tasted just like Subway. However, dinner was a different experience. This location closes at 8 PM, which I understand due to labor issues. I arrived around 7:45 PM, waited in line, ordered, and began eating. The employee, who introduced himself as Nivek, initially used what looked like rotisserie chicken for my chicken bacon ranch sub. It wasn’t a major issue, so I simply requested the regular chicken, which he replaced—but he displayed a bad attitude afterward. While ringing me up, he checked the time and complained about customers showing up last minute, even though my receipt was stamped 7:50 PM. Shortly after, at 7:57 PM, another customer entered and began ordering. Nivek immediately responded in an argumentative tone, saying they couldn’t make any more subs as he had already closed the register. The customer replied similarly, and the situation quickly escalated. I stood up for the customer because Nivek shouldn’t be complaining about patrons right in front of them.

Then, I asked for American cheese on one and shredded cheese on the other, but they said they only had provolone left. I decided to cancel the order, and the woman got very rude, throwing the first sub into the food aggressively. When another customer stepped up, she asked who’s next but was unfriendly, refusing to list all the items they were out of, saying she’d only inform if asked. Overall, her attitude was very unpleasant.
