Roman's is a hidden gem with a slightly shabby exterior that belies the sleek and inviting interior. The menu features daily changing dishes made with fresh, organic ingredients that come together in sophisticated flavor combinations. The arancini, butternut squash, and brown butter beet ravioli are standout dishes, while the olive oil cake and hazelnut gelato make for a perfect ending to the meal. The roasted chicken is juicy with crispy skin, and the cocktail and wine list are impressive. The staff is friendly and attentive, creating a wonderful dining experience. While some customers have found the quality inconsistent, Roman's remains a favorite local Italian spot known for its delicious food and excellent service.

A lovely dinner on a rainy day in BK! the restaurant was decently packed when we got there for an early dinner. the place had a nice ambiance too. we started with a Daily Sour and a glass of red. we got the following to try: -arancini verde: piping hot, crunchy on the outside, and cheesy/melty on the inside. a great start to our meal! -paccheri with squid, chickpeas, and peppers: al dente pasta with squid, chickpeas, and peppers in a slightly tangy sauce. it seemed like an unlikely pairing but everything fits. -chicken diavolo: huuuuuuge half chicken, served with roasted potatoes and broccolini. it was juicy and perfectly seasoned. the chicken is bone-in tho, something worth noting. service was attentive but not intrusive. a pretty solid meal in BK.

Service was impeccable. Menu was small but thoughtful and the place itself is clean and well designed. A pleasure all around. Loved the wine list. Really well curated.

Cute date night spot. Our favourite part of the meal were the appetisers. We got the Fava bean purée and a big chicory salad. I wasn’t a fan of the sun gold negroni it was too sweet for my taste. The pasta was decent and simple but if I’m being honest the competition for Italian food is fierce in this city and I’ve had better. We got the Linguine with tuna and the ravioli. Ravioli was the preferred dish. Hazelnut ice cream was really good. A nitpicky thing about the atmosphere, because the place is designed with tiles it has bathroom acoustics so the echo makes the restaurant 10x louder even if there is only a few people. We sort of had to shout at each other as if we were in a rowdy bar to be heard. We still managed to have a romantic evening though and the servers were very warm and welcoming.

Food was good, but, fairly unremarkable to be honest. Prices on the other hand, quite remarkably high. Made me wonder, why DID I go pay $150 to make someone cook me simple food I could have made at home for $30?
