Everything was perfect! The food was fantastic, the service could not have been better, all the waiters could not have been nicer, accommodating and funny. It was just a wonderful afternoon. I have been there a couple of times before and each time gets better and better. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Ponte Vecchio:
The hot circus pasta was overly greasy and didn't taste good. The moon ravioli was decent, probably a 6 out of 10. However, the mozzarella appetizer was fantastic, a perfect 10 out of 10. Unfortunately, the table we were seated at was located next to the bus station, so the ambiance was not the best. View all feedback.
Nestled in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, is Ponte Vecchio, an old-school Italian spot that was recommended to us by friends. Intrigued, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t quite meet our expectations.Our seafood pasta dishes, one being the black ink pasta, were a letdown. While we hoped for vibrant, oceanic flavors, we found the dishes lackluster. The Veal Parmesan was notably better, but still not something to write home about. The oysters, on the other hand, were quite decent, offering some redemption to our dining experience.Considering its reputation as a classic Italian restaurant, the overall experience was rather disappointing. While we appreciate its standing as a staple in the community, our personal encounter doesn’t inspire a return visit.Despite our experience, we wish Ponte Vecchio the best. It’s clear that they hold a special place in the hearts of many locals, and we hope others continue to find enjoyment in their offerings.
Now this is an Italy restaurant. The food well just thinking about it make my mouth water. What a lovely staff and the service was on point, as for their ambiance you can close your eyes and feel like you are in Italy. I am so looking forward to coming back to Ponte Vecchio Restaurant.
Loved it here!! Worth the drive- Giovanni the bartender was great. Owner was super sweet and food/drinks were delicious. Will be back
The service and the food is always outstanding although when they have events they should notify diners
The overall experience at the restaurant was fantastic. There was an issue with valet as the valet attendant went missing and had our keys locked up. We had to wait over 30 minutes to leave.
