This was our second visit to the restaurant. Being in the area, we decided to give it another try. The food was good, but not exceptional. With so many Italian restaurants around, we had hoped to be able to call this one excellent. It’s a long-standing establishment in Brooklyn, and I honestly don’t get the excitement surrounding it. You won’t leave disappointed, but you won’t be particularly impressed either.

Wow, I get to write review #500! Classy Italian restaurant with solid entree and appetizer choices and a willingness to make off the menu dishes. Even the bread is excellent! Outstanding desserts, leave room if you can! Their service is top notch (thank you Pat and your assistant from Ecuador whose name I did not catch). A popular restaurant with a well earned reputation. I suggest you go at an off hour when it is not crowded
