I recently started working at this Spanish cafe in town and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There are a variety of options on the menu, including vegan choices. I recently visited this restaurant for the second time in a few months and was disappointed to find that they were out of the lunch meat for their signature sandwich. The overall running of the place seemed to be lacking, with little effort to maintain a general look. I recently started working at this Spanish cafe in town and I absolutely love it! The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. There are a variety of options on the menu, including vegan choices. Customers can even create their own dishes by mixing ingredients from the menu. Occasionally, we have secret menus with special drinks or meals of the day. Of course, we also offer takeout services. The prices are very affordable and it's a small, intimate space where customers can enjoy their drink and work on their laptop.
I recently visited this restaurant for the second time in a few months and was disappointed to find that they were out of the lunch meat for their signature sandwich. The overall running of the place seemed to be lacking, with little effort to maintain a general look. There were multiple outdated menus on display and the Halloween decorations were still up in January. I ordered coffee and bagels, only to be told they were out of bagels and milk for the coffee. The woman at the register seemed uninterested in being there. This once neighborhood gem now seems lost. Despite being nearly empty, I am surprised they are able to stay open. The only positive aspect of this place is that it provides some warmth on cold days. That's the best I can say about it.
The service at this restaurant deserves only one star, but the food gets five stars. If service isn't a concern, then this is the place for you. I couldn't find the burrito on the menu, but a friend recommended the breakfast burritos here, so I came specifically for that. The lady at the counter just pointed me to the menu and told me to look it up. When I finally placed my order, she tried to push me to get the el Presidente version that I didn't want, saying it had too much to resist. I declined and asked for something else, but she was very rude and seemed irritated. When I asked for ketchup packets, she couldn't be bothered. The chef in the back eventually gave her a bottle of ketchup to give me a small container, but she was too busy with the next customer. Despite the poor service, the burrito was actually good – it had a nice fluffy texture, cheddar cheese, rice, beans, corn, and sausage. Yum!
The ordered food to go-the tofu scramble burrito was incredible bland and the mocha tasted down. would not be recommended for vegans.
Honestly one of the most delicious breakfast I ever had. The smoothies are authentic tasting and this place had great options! Had the homemade breakfast biscuit and everything was delicious. Best biscuit I ever tasted.
