Description

Mama Pho has long been a beloved destination for late-night cravings, impressing diners with its vibrant flavors and fresh ingredients. The pho, particularly cherished for its rich broth and quality toppings, continues to shine, even in the early hours. However, recent delivery experiences have raised concerns, with reports of inconsistent quality and missing items. Complaints about dry meats and health hazards, such as raw pork and a wet napkin in meals, highlight potential issues in kitchen operations. Despite mixed reviews, many loyal patrons appreciate the attentive service and remain hopeful for improvements in the restaurant's overall consistency.

My first time there and it will be my last. The greeted courtesy was rushed and we were just given menus and we sat down at a long table because all the smaller private tables were all dirty. We had to pointed out to the maitre'd so he could attend to it. We we not aware there more tables in the back area. So we sat by the entrance at a long table while the tables were being cleaned. We looked at the menu and decided to ordered some steamed dumplings and they were served incorrectly. Instead of the dumplings being served with the sauce on the side they were actually dumped inside the sauce. I mentioned the situation the waitress giggled and then took it back to the kitchen to change it. The maitre'd took our order so everything was already in motion. I actually got my meal before my son and by the time my son got his food, my food was cold. I mentioned it to the waitress and she said sorry and did nothing about it. After that icident they finally gave us the dumplings last which were cold as well. I did not eat my food(catfish rice dish) and my son said his food(chicken rice) was not that great either. They were more interested in their take out orders than us. To sum it up service, staff and food was very disappointing. So that was my first and last experience. Mama Pho is my go-to spot! The fact that it’s open 24 hours already makes it a gem, but the food and service take it to another level. My usual combo is one of their phos paired with a mango bubble tea, and it never disappoints. The pho is consistently amazing—a perfect balance of healthy and delicious—and the fresh juice bar is such a nice bonus. A special shout-out to Lisa, who often takes care of me. She’s attentive, super friendly, and always makes my visit warm and welcoming. I’m pretty sure she even snuck some extra bubbles into my bubble tea once! Her great smile and hospitality really add to the experience. Highly recommend Mama Pho for anyone looking for comfort food at any hour Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Firstly, the kiosk doesn’t offer vermicelli bowls, which are available on the menu if you dine in. If you try to order one through the machine, it’s simply not an option, and when you ask the staff, they claim it’s not available even though other customers are enjoying it. Secondly, the kiosk doesn't allow for any input regarding allergies or dietary restrictions, which is essential for many customers. Lastly, if you want to order the small pho for $10, it shows as out of stock on the machine, but you can order the regular or large size without issue, which is confusing. If you ask the staff to help you place your order in person, they won’t accommodate you, even when you want items that are clearly on the menu and being served to others in the restaurant. This push to use the kiosk is frustrating, and they really need to either update it or stop requiring customers to use it. This place used to be my favorite, but it’s really gone downhill lately.

The food seems to be microwaved. The staff handle money and food without changing gloves, and there are no hair nets in sight. There’s a long wait time for both delivery and pickup. Overall, the level of professionalism here is quite lacking.
