The fried whole porgy fish was delicious. Everything we ordered was not greasy. They were crispy and the batter was thin. The oyster and clams were very fresh. Love thw clam chowder. It did not have too much cream..you can taste the clam juice. Theonlyndraw back is the servicem they are fast at getting orders but our food took forever to come out from the kitchen.
Best lobster roll NYC :D Piled super high on a perfectly toasted and buttered, sturdy hot dog bun. Served with a perfectly reasonable amount of old bay fries and slaw. The Gowanus tower is a great appetizer order for two: a dozen oysters (3varieties , six clams (come with mezcal vinegar huge fan!! Brilliant idea!! , and six shrimp cocktail. That and a bottle ofRiesling for less than the price of four glasses of the stuff really did the trick. If you want to fish out or if you miss yourreal New England upbringing, this is a great place to do it.
This restaurant serves delightful seafood in a charming ambiance. Although the menu has seen some updates, the main dishes have remained reliable, and any minor changes are appreciated.
On Saturday, I had an early date night with my partner. I was eager to try this restaurant, not knowing that he had already been there. Regardless, the place was really cool and busy. I ordered a drink called Jake's Harbor, along with fresh scallops and a lobster roll, while he went for oysters and a crab roll. Everything we had was delicious! To my surprise, it was my first time trying oysters, and I was thrilled by how amazing they tasted. I can’t believe I was ever hesitant to try them! I was laughing so hard!
