Randomly passed by as I was in the area for work. Figured why not. Probably top 5 chicken tacos in my life, and I'm an LA street taco expert. She cooked it fresh right there. Got three heavily loaded soft tacos and a Jarritos for $16, which is a deal these days. I'll be coming back for sure! OK, if you were dining in it's exactly what an actual native New Yorker would expect. Any whiners... welcome to NYC, hope your... View all feedback.
What Buzzard MacCain doesn't like about Hungry Burrito:
Went here for lunch because it was close to work. I got the standard rice, beans and chicken with a drink. Food tasted ok but it was way too expensive and the serving size was puny. Upon finishing the meal I had to go to another restaurant to get something else to supplement the meager meal. It was my second time visiting this establishment. The first time there I ordered a burrito which tasted bland and I had to wai... View all feedback.

Hungry Burrito is a great spot for a quick and delicious meal. The burritos are fresh and flavorful, and the service is always friendly and efficient.
I had the Chicken tacos. Had to order the cheese separately bit they forgot to put ot on. Overall. A great
After getting my order today, I remembered why I stopped ordering from them.1- the food looks nice BUT IS FRESH. NO TYPE OF SEASONING WHATSOEVER, not even some salt.2- their prices are all over the place. I called to place an over the phone based on their prices on google. Everything was $3-$4 more. When I asked why, I was told the prices on google is old. OK, so update it then.3- I’ve never eaten there but it’s so small inside who’d wanna. Now I have $25 worth of food I bought for lunch that I will no go home and recook and add some seasoning. I mean ITS FRESH.They didn’t even give me a container of sour cream. Just a jar of hot so, like tf I’m supposed to do with that. There’s no dish I’d recommend, I’d suggest Dos Toros Williamsburg.
Man i’m all for supporting local small businesses, i’ve been coming here for literally years like 7 years. but the prices just got so expensive. a plate of hot food from the buffet used to be 7$ then 9$ then 11$ during covid, now it’s 13$? I think today might be my last time going. I swear they charge the construction workers that swing by and regular neighborhood people different prices. 13$ for a plate of pre prepared buffet style hot food is crazy. it’s good, but certainly not 13$ good. OH and on top of all of that they charge extra for tiny little containers of hot sauce that are standard at ANY mexican take out joint. Come on guys, you lost a customer of 7 years. Save your money and head over to taste of heaven.
