Description

This Nepalese and Indian restaurant has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have criticized the lack of authenticity and various issues with the dishes, others have praised the unique flavors of the Nepalese cuisine and the attentive service. The menu offers a variety of options, and the portions are generous for a fair price. Overall, it seems like a promising addition to the dining scene in Pleasanton, with potential for improvement in certain areas.

I do not recommend this restaurant at all. They advertise themselves as Nepalese, but it's really just Indian food. There are plenty of great Indian restaurants in the area, but this one is not one of them. When we arrived, there were no other customers in the restaurant. Two groups that came in after us were served before us. We specifically asked for mild dishes, but our biryani ended up being spicy. The lentil soup was cold and overly salty, and when we asked for hot tea, we were told they had run out. The chicken tikka had more sauce than actual chicken, so we sent it back to have more chicken added. The shrimp dish was also mostly sauce with very little shrimp. While the rice dishes were flavorful, they were overpriced for the portion size. We did enjoy the Mo MO and Chana Masala starters. The Mango Lassi seemed pre-made and poured from a large container. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant when there are so many other excellent Indian restaurants in the area.

This restaurant is a recent addition to the dining options in Pleasanton. It is a great choice for those looking to enjoy Nepalese cuisine. We sampled the momo, curry, and biryani dishes, and found them all delicious and satisfying. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The restaurant offers a menu featuring both Indian and Nepalese cuisine. While we only tried the Nepalese dishes, we were impressed with the unique flavors on our sampler platter. I will definitely be returning to try more.

Really cute place, only about 7 months old, it's food from Nepal. The staff are very nice and will help you choose the food if you don't know all of the menus. Good portions for a fair price for really unique food (and really good food!)
