The dining experience was disappointing. The food was sent back twice, and the fish and chips were still burnt. My wife’s potatoes were undercooked, and even when the waitress mentioned for the second time that they were discussing what should come from the kitchen, they instructed her to serve it anyway. Our visit to Hanks was as expected, perfect. The service was excellent, always feels like we are at a family dinner. The staff is friendly and very attentive. The food never disappoints, large quantities, lots of choices, good prices and delicious. One of my favorite restaurants
Service was excellent as is the food. Fish and chips was incredible. Fish was nice and flaky and well cooked. Light batter was very crispy and the fish and chips stayed hot throughout the meal. Fries were super crunchy. Clam fritters were good and the chowder had plenty of clams.

Food and atmosphere are outstanding. The owners and help are fantastic people that always greet you with a heartfelt smile.
Cute homey place with good comfort food and many choices on the menu. Food is fresh and like home cooked. Service was great!!
