What Kaity Chan doesn't like about Gertie:
Hostess, not the greatest. Busy day crowded and no host to welcome or assist any guests. Barista not very clean, aware of open space and guests can see them. Food was mediocre. Pastries was the best part of the meal. View all feedback.

The restaurant is delicious! If you love potatoes? Ve come to the right place, enough potatoes to keep you full for a week of potato art friends. In fact, Aioli was the true star of the show and should not be overlooked. Zach was the best! Bonuses: live DJ turn old vinyl recordings and fun connect the points!
Wonderful place. The food is fantastic. We had the granular bowl and the selection of pimples. All delicious! Staff are all super friendly and friendly, the place itself is bright with cool decor and amazing music too! In any case it is worth checking!
Fantastic experience at Gertie as always! The staff is so welcoming, food is great, and music is wonderful. They can get busy on the weekends so I recommend coming in earlier or on weekdays. The German potatoes are AMAZING and make it one of the best breakfasts in Brooklyn! It?s a clean restaurant with dine in and takeout options plus they offer delivery orders through Doordash so it always works.
We only stopped by for bagels this time and it was incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon for brunch. Looks like a great place with yummy food. Their bagels were definitely chewy and delicious. They even had a non-dairy cream cheese. It's a little expensive compared to local bagel places but worth trying. They have indoor dining and an outdoor area but you need proof of vaccination for indoor seating. Just FYI (as many places in NYC are requiring now).
