If you’re a fan of authentic Sichuan cuisine, go for the extra spicy option; even then, it’s not extremely spicy. The portion sizes are a bit disappointing, as shown in the pictures. Overall, though, it was still a decent meal! The fortune cookie was exceptional—possibly the best I’ve ever had. The atmosphere of the restaurant was incredibly cozy. If you’re not concerned about time or distance, I would recommend heading to Chinatown for a more authentic experience for your $18 entrée.
Last night, we decided to check out this restaurant. My friend and I ordered three dishes: long beans, Dan noodles, and a fried chicken and rice dish (I can't remember the name). We really wanted to enjoy our meal, but unfortunately, the food had a significant issue—it was way too salty. I appreciate a well-seasoned dish, but the saltiness was overwhelming to the point where it made the food difficult to eat. We loved the flavors and spices, but the saltiness was just too much. It’s a shame because Bushwick is known for its great food options, and this place could be a fantastic addition if they could just fix this one problem.
