The restaurant has a unique atmosphere. When I walked in, I was happily surprised to see food on the steam table. However, the dining area was quite dimly lit, which gave it more of a club-like feel. I noticed bottles of alcohol on the floor behind the bar, which added to my uncertainty about whether it was a restaurant or a club. The cleanliness could definitely be improved. On a positive note, the food was quite tasty. If you're up for something different, it might be worth checking out.
This restaurant is definitely one of my top picks when I don't want to cook, and it's one of my favorite places in the neighborhood. The homestyle dishes are always fresh and tasty. Two of my personal favorites are the Pollo Guisado and the Pernil, but everything I've had has been amazing. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are quite generous. The ladies at the counter are wonderful as well. I truly love this place!
The Dominican cuisine here is outstanding. While the atmosphere isn't particularly upscale, I wouldn’t recommend dining in; the food is simply unmatched. This is, without a doubt, the best Dominican food in all of Williamsburg!
Ordered sweet plantains and they gave me the smallest portion and overcharged me. I will not be coming back. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
