This place brought me back to life. I worked almost a 14 hour shift the night before and was starving the next day. I was also pretty new to the neighborhood and haven’t been cooking as much so when I saw they had Turkish eggs, something I love to make at home, I got so excited. What Remidemic dislikes about Egg Shop:
I’ve never gotten goose bumps from eating a Becky (bacon egg n cheese sandwich). I’ve had more expensive sandwiches that were not 1/2 as good. I messed up and got a reservation. I dono if it gets super busy but here at 10am on a Sunday you don’thave to risk the $25/pp fee if you cancel less than a reasonable 2hrs before your time seating. Menu is short and sweet. Without a doubt, the best breakfast spot in Williamsburg. The fried chicken is absolutely delicious! The captain burrito is a must-try, and you can’t miss the ricotta scramble!
It's a fantastic place with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere.
This place has a very nice vibe, and the food is excellent. I appreciate the little touches like the napkins and labels with an egg symbol. Just a heads up: the entrance door has a sign that says ‘pull hard to open,’ and they weren’t kidding! I definitely recommend this place.
