Description

This upscale and trendy Brooklyn spot serves delicious food with creative menu options. While the service is excellent, the portion sizes might leave you wanting more. The ambiance is romantic and comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor seating options available. One must-try dish is the mushroom crostini, and the Turkish eggs come highly recommended as well. However, be prepared for a potentially long wait time during peak hours. Overall, a lovely spot for a special occasion or a casual brunch.

Every single dish was excellent, with three shared plates and three different pastas. All a real treat for the taste buds with each bite and it would change and evolve in the nicest ways. Crazy attention to detail and so worth it. Mushroom pate was out of this world good! Pasta was perfection. Made a special day even better thanks!

Everything was delicious but the surprising best dish of the night was the mushroom crostini. You MUST get this. We also got the lump crab tagliatelle and the duck dish. I loved the spicy kick in the pasta and it had a generous serving of crab. Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes!

Amazing spot in downtown BK. Food was delicious and service was great. Sat by the chef counter and just being able to see them prepare everything was phenomenal. Chef was very helpful with his recommendations. Will definitely be coming back to this joint.

I had one of the best dining experiences of my life at Colonie. Every single dish was bursting with flavor — it felt like the chefs truly know how to make ingredients sing. Drinks:. We started with a Turn and Burn cocktail and several Seasonal Chili Margaritas, which were fresh, balanced, and had just the right kick of spice. The margaritas alone are worth coming back for! Starters:. The Chips Dip and Eggplant Caponata were perfect openers — flavorful, light, and beautifully plated. Even something as simple as sweet potatoes turned into a rich, layered dish full of surprising depth. Mains:. The Rigatoni was hearty, comforting, and perfectly cooked, while the Steak was a showstopper — tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. Both dishes showed the kitchen’s attention to detail and quality. Dessert:. We finished with the Sticky Date Cake, and honestly, it was unforgettable — warm, indulgent, and the perfect sweet ending. Overall:. The food at Colonie is on another level — bold yet balanced flavors, beautifully executed, and clearly made with love. The atmosphere is warm and lively, and it’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger long after your meal. Btw I used my mom’s account ! My names Emily from Long Island !!! Thank you !!! Konte and anna! You guys are awesome. Price per person: $30–50
