Chuko - Brooklyn
Menu
The restaurant from Brooklyn offers 64 different courses and drinks on the menu at an average price of $12.1.
Bar Chuko in Brooklyn's Prospect Heights neighborhood is a popular go-to spot for many residents. Despite the higher prices, the consistent excellence of the food, friendly service, and inviting atmosphere keep customers coming back. The menu includes a build-your-own ramen option, which may not appeal to everyone, but the ability to make every soup vegetarian is a nice feature for plant-based eaters. The broth is described as thick and creamy, with Japanese roast pork served instead of chashu. While not the most traditional ramen joint, Chuko offers delicious options like garlic ramen, salt and pepper chicken, and chili soy wings that keep customers returning for more. Overall, the food is delicious, the service is attentive, and the restaurant has a pleasant vibe that attracts both locals and visitors.

Was Confessions of a Food Freak at Chuko a mag?
This is my favorite ramen spot. I've been coming here for years, and it's the perfect place for solo dining. The staff is consistently attentive, and the ramen is always outstanding. I also love the buns and Brussels sprouts as great additions to my meal. Occasionally, I even channel my inner Naruto and indulge in two bowls because it's just that delicious. While there can sometimes be a long wait, there are plenty o... View all feedback.
What onthegoboomer dislikes about Chuko:
This is for the Chuko at Terminal C LaGuardia but I assume the two are similar. You have to sit and scan the QR code and order online. I didn?t know I had to ask for the roll to be cut and they didn?t add sesame seeds. I sent it back to be cut. Thecucumber was so large and very hard it hurt my gums. I won?t be back. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We have tried some of their cocktails that were delicious and generous. the food was also delicious. we had a few small tellers, then a ground pork and a chicken bowl. everything was perfect. two cocktails, 2 glasses wein, 2 small tellers, 2 of their larger tellers. under $100.
It was my friend's birthday and we planned to go to Chuko. It was extremely crowded so we decided to check out it's Sister restaurant, Bar Chuko, across the street. We had a nice time. Waitstaff were extremely pleasant and informative. Cocktails were refreshing. We had Tokyo Mules. Great place to come to try different items in small plates, some Japanese and others are more of a fusion. The larger plate (or bowl) was a Chicken Ramen which was quite good. Ambience could be enhanced but overall experience made for a nice evening.
Loved the set up and the vibes of the restaurant. Garlic wings were great.. Not impressed with the ramen however. Many of the items were overpriced. Don't think I would return as I had bettrr expectations
