The service was really slow but it was a busy Saturday night so it was understandable. They did forget to bring us the menus and our drink order but overall the food was amazing. View all feedback.
What Emmalee Keebler doesn't like about Cherry Point:
Cherry Point is a solid little neighborhood establishment. The staff were very friendly and the food was tasty. They also use hay strays and appear to making efforts to be environmentally conscience. Unfortunately the prices are very high for the portion size. There are other nicer restaurants in the area (Sauvage and 5 Leaves) that have much bigger portions for roughly the same price. This place is a gem! Food is absolutely amazing heads down. We went Friday at 7:30 pm with reservation and it was very crowded. Food was a tiny bit slow but whole experience covered it up. We have tasted all the signatures. I will highly recommend Quill, White Fish, and duck breast. Another must-try is the cocktails.
I came here after reading The Infatuation review but couldn’t find the food from the review in the menu. Probably the menu has been changed since the review. I really liked the cocktails and the burger. The burger was a little salty than what I like but still had great flavor and juicy. The pork croquettes were also good. We didn’t like the cured meat so much but maybe will order a different kind next time.
Edit 9/2/19: They've changed the bun on the burger which is disappointing. It went from a sesame brioche like bun to a standard potato bun. You can see the difference in my photos. The pheasant pie also wasn't available last time we went which I'm hoping was just a one off and not a permanent change. You can tell a lot of thought goes into the food here. The burger is one of the best (if not the best) in Brooklyn. The pheasant pie is a must try as well. My favorite cocktail on the menu is the Medicine Man and I always order the Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert.
The fries desperately need salt but the burger is pure excellence. Good happy hour, nice oysters, good cocktails
One of the most unbelievably good meals I've had in New York City. I spent the evening here for a friend's birthday. Every dish was composed masterfully, the service was friendly and attentive, and the overall experience of food, drink, and sensory input of the decor within the venue is worthy of a Michelin star, not just a guide recommendation.
