I'm not sure what's happening at this restaurant, but they just can't seem to get my orders right. I've been ordering from them for several months, and over the last couple of weeks, I've frequently received missing sides, condiments, or even key items in my bowls. I held back from writing a negative review until now, but today was the last straw. My recent order of two falafel grain bowls was missing… the falafel! How do you forget the main protein in a bowl?! I'm really disappointed with this location; it's affecting my overall impression of the CAVA brand.

I biked around for miles looking to satisfy my falafel craving, and ended up at this spot with its super long lunch line, with great anticipation. Unfortunately, for a Mediterranean cafe, the falafel was not even worth mentioning. In the big salad bowl I ordered, I ended up with a tiny dollop of tasteless hummus and two tiny, spongey, marble sized falafel balls. No crunch, no texture, no flavor — even frozen microwave falafel has more crisp. I even paid extra $2 for the “spicy falafel” and it had *zero* heat. It was literally like eating nothing. Fortunately the veg and sauces were all pretty decent and you can pile them on, which is the only thing that saved this review from being one star ???? and in all fairness, it looked like multitude of meat options were more interesting and flavorful. But, for half the price I’ll stick with the halal street cart vendors.
