Catfish offers a mixed experience, with some diners enjoying the upbeat ambiance, affordable prices, and standout dishes like shrimp appetizers and mac and cheese, while others found disappointments in dishes like the meatloaf, gumbo, and sandwiches. The service received mixed reviews, with some praising the staff and others finding the food and atmosphere lacking. Overall, Catfish provides a hit-or-miss experience for those seeking Cajun cuisine in Brooklyn.

I had a fantastic brunch featuring incredible shrimp and grits! The coffee was excellent as well.

They don't actually have Catfish at least when we went , but the other foods are delicious! Hope to come back and try out the Po' Boy

The food was absolutely delish. Went with a party of Was immediately seated upon arrival. Our server was attentive but not smothering. He helped with suggestions and also accommodated a member of our party with a substitute side. We ordered Jambalaya Shrimp and grits Country fried steak. Boudin balls and Jalapeño cornbread! Our food was absolutely delicious and we all plan on returning

I recently visited this restaurant again and ordered a catfish po-boy along with a side salad. My two friends opted for the pulled pork with chips. We also decided to share some mac and cheese.

If you love New Orleans cuisine and are living in Brooklyn, your choices can be quite limited. Luckily, I live in a neighborhood that offers two fantastic restaurants inspired by NOLA's culinary delights.
